Sharon Matsumoto of Los Angeles happily receives a copy of “Japan: Reverence for Beauty,” signed by author Gil Garcetti at a book-signing held at the DuncanMiller Gallery in Bergamot Station in Santa Monica on Dec. 7. Garcetti is a former Los Angeles district attorney and the father of Mayor Eric Garcetti. He has published eight books of photography.
