It never seems to get any easier to come out as trans. Even with growing visibility in the media,?? ??? ?? ?? and a new generation of young LGBTQ folk who feel more open and secure in their identities, it's still hard to come out. So what can you do but laugh?

The trans community are masters of meme-ing in order to shut down bigots and cope with everyday microaggressions. But you'll still find people like Blaire White who grab the fear-mongering megaphone by the hand, and proceed to arrange words in any order they desire for their own gain.

White is a YouTuber and self-identified "transgender conservative commentator." Despite her identity, White is a controversial figure due to her connection to far-right movements and belief that trans identity is a mental disorder.

Recently White posted a tweet implying that society would be totallyandcompletely chill with trans identity, if only the mean,angrytrans people would stop being upset about oppression.

We gotta reiterate here — being trans is not about "forcing hormones" on kids or shaving genitalia. Living your truth isn't "going too far." And trans people certainly aren't whining about self-victimization, when the brutal truth is that deadly violence against trans people is on the rise.

Not missing a beat, the trans community immediately proceeded to strip the original tweet of all context and turned it into increasingly bizarre non-sequiturs about acceptance. White may not care too much about trans rights, but you know who does? Society™️, presumably. But also, Goku. Winston from Overwatch. Sonic the Hedgehog. You get the idea.
