Japanese video game developer Pocket Pair has given its employees the day off specificallyto play the incredibly hyped up latest FromSoftware release.

"Pocket Pair will provide Elden Holiday to all employees!" reads a tweet, translated from Japanese by Google, and first spotted by Kotaku. "The King of Elde does not have to go to work on Friday and Monday!"

The official statement attached to the tweet in the image, when translated using Google, cites the release date of Feb. 25 for Elden Ringand reads, "it is expected that you will not be able to concentrate on your work."

It's taken experienced reviewers up to 87 hours to beat the game, so a day off ahead of the weekend is most welcome for these extremely serious Elden Ringfans who'll apparently refuse to focus if made to show up to work. Pocket Pair's own president even posted a photo of his enthusiastic self celebrating the coming release.
